9 luglio 2006: la notte magica di Berlino
Chi non ricorda l'urlo di Fabio Grosso? Chi non ricorda il suo sguardo incredulo al termine di quella palpitante serie di calci di rigore? Nove anni dopo il ricordo è ancora nitido nella mente degli italiani e non potrebbe essere altrimenti. A Berlino, il 9 luglio 2006, l'Italia tornava sul tetto del mondo a 24 anni di distanza dalla vittoria di Madrid del 1982. Una finale racchiusa in poche istantanee: il rigore di Zidane che porta in vantaggio la Francia, lo stacco di testa di Materazzi che pareggia i conti, il controverso episodio che coinvolge gli autori dei due gol e porta all'espulsione di Zizou. E poi l'abbraccio tra Buffon e Barthez prima dei rigori, il penalty di Trezeguet che si stampa sulla traversa, l'urlo liberatorio di Grosso e di milioni di italiani...
