The FIFA eFootball Play x Unite 2020 tournament approaching fast: a Cacciapuoti-Paolicelli duo for Italy

Nations from all over Europe will be competing in the FIFA eFootball Play x Unite 2020 tournament this summer, a new eSports competition involving eight teams. The invite-only competition will see some of the continent’s top players on FIFA 20’s virtual pitches. The eSports teams involved are England, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, Poland, Italy, Sweden and Portugal, each sending forward one player on PS4 and one on Xbox.
Italy’s eNazionale TIMVISION FIFA (the reigning champions of Europe!) will be represented by Raffaele ‘Er_caccia98’ Cacciapuoti on PlayStation and Marco ‘TactualStrange’ Paolicelli on Xbox, each of whom came out as winners of the TIMVISION FIFA 2020 qualifiers.
FIFA eFootball Play x Unite 2020 kicks off on Monday 6 July, with the eight nations split into two groups of four. The tournament format will be made out of a group stage, a knockout stage and a final to conclude proceedings on Wednesday 22 July. The games will be played on FIFA Ultimate Team with players from the teams’ respective nations and points won on PS4 and Xbox to be combined.
