A new Italy team: the three eplayers that will represent the Azzurri during the eNations Cup 2021 qualifiers

Over the weekend, the finals of the selection process to determine the players who will make up the new TIMVISION FIFA 21 eNational Team took place. Plenty of people tuned in to watch the live streams that were broadcast on Twitch and TIMVISION. Karim "Karimisbak" Rmaiti (AC Milan), who was the overall winner, and Rocco "guarinoJR_" Guarino (Sampdoria) held off fierce competition on PS4, while Gianluca "Pignone" Ciliberti (Esport Empire) will represent the Azzurri on XBOX.

The three new eplayers will now begin their preparations for the FIFA ENations Cup 2021 qualifiers. The aim is to reach the final tournament, which will involve 24 teams (including the hosts Denmark) and take place in August in Copenhagen. In order to progress through to the final phase, Italy will need to make it through the group stage (20 and 21 May) and the successive knockout stage (22 and 23 May).

In the only previous edition of the FIFA eNations Cup, which took place in 2019, France beat Argentina in the final. At the time the Azzurri eNational Team had not yet been formed, but now they’re hoping to bring joy to their fans and build on Italy’s UEFA eEURO triumph on PES in 2020.
