Italy’s FIFAeSports team took four wins from four to book their ticket to the play-offs, the final round of qualifying for the FIFAe Nations Cup 2023. The Azzurri, having topped a tough group and gone through due to their Consistency Ranking, thereby avoided the intermediate qualifying round. Following defeats to Sweden and Germany on matchday 1, our three ePlayers, Danilo ‘danipitbull’ Pinto, Francesco Pio ‘Obrun2002’ Tagliafierro e Andrea ‘montaxer’ Montanini, took four wins from four games on matchday 2 to overtake the Swedes and Germans. The best moment of the day was a last-minute comeback against Germany. The play-offs will take place from 19 to 21 May. All of Italy’s games will be broadcast live on the FIGC’s YouTube channel.
