There was lots of applause and a true cavalcade of stars at the fifth edition of the Italian Football Hall of Fame.
At the Salone dei Cinquecento in Florence’s Palazzo Vecchio which had the four World Cup trophies won by Italy on show, ten more stars took their place in the Hall of Fame. They were: Gianluca Vialli (Italian Player), Ronaldo (Foreign Player), Roberto Mancini (Italian Coach), Corrado Ferlaino (Italian Director), Roberto Rosetti (Italian Referee), Marco Tardelli (Italian Veteran), Patrizia Panico (Female Italian Player) along with Giacinto Facchetti, Helenio Herrera and Umberto Agnelli (Posthumous Awards). Before the prize ceremony, 100 children and young people from local schools had the chance to meet Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima, Patrizia Panico, Roberto Rosetti and Marco Tardelli at the Sala d’Arme to discuss different topics with people from different generations.
