The trophy was presented by the President of the Futsal Division, Stefano Castiglia, together with the coach of that historic win, Roberto Menichelli, as well as Michele Miarelli, one of the 14 players who took part in the tournament, and the Division’s honorary president, Fabrizio Tonelli.
Deputy Mayor Isabella Sala, Sports Councilor Leone Zilio, Italian football legend Betty Vignotto, and Vice President of the Museo del Calcio, Enrico Demarchi, attended the event. The city buzzed with excitement as the Azzurre arrived. “We are proud to host such an important event,” said Stefano Rosso, President of Vicenza Calcio.
The event saw numerous prominent guests, including coaches Gattuso and Soncin, who pledged to contribute new memorabilia. Marani: ‘An amazing project.’ Buffon: ‘Understanding the past gives everything greater meaning.’
On the morning of May 30, there will be a meeting involving students, along with an exhibition featuring photos by Juventus’ historic photographer, Salvatore Giglio. In the museum’s cinema hall, a video produced by the Association of Heysel Victims’ Families will be screened throughout the month.
