Andrea Pirlo will make his debut as Juventus coach at home to Sampdoria on matchday 1 of the new Serie A TIM season. The full fixture list for 2020/21 was released on the league’s official site, socials and YouTube channel today. Matchday 1, to be played on the weekend of 19 and 20 September, sees Gasperini’s Atalanta travel to Rome to take on Simone Inzaghi’s Lazio (Atalanta have requested that the game be played ahead of time). Meanwhile, Lazio’s archrivals Roma play Juventus on the weekend of 26/27 September. Two huge games are not to be missed on matchday 3: Juventus vs. Napoli and Lazio vs. Inter.

The season’s first derby is one of the biggest; the Milan Derby falls on matchday 4, followed by the fierce cross-town rivalries in Genoa (matchday 6), Turin (matchday 10) and Rome (matchday 18). This season, which ends on 23 May, will have six two-game weeks and three international breaks (11 October, 15 November and 28 March). The winter break will be between 24 December and 2 January.
