Eight legends were inducted during the 2014 edition of the Italian Football Hall of Fame.  The ceremony and prize presentation was held at the Sala d’Arme at the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence with the FIGC President Carlo Tavecchio and Mayor of Florence Dario Nardella. Those who joined the Hall of Fame were: Carlo Ancelotti, Fabio Cannavaro, Sandro Mazzola, Stefano Braschi, Giuseppe Marotta, Diego Armando Maradona and Carolina Morace (the inaugural winner in the women’s football category).
