Italia e Argentina si affronteranno il prossimo giugno in un’inedita sfida tra i Campioni d’Europa in carica e i vincitori dell’ultima Coppa America. Lo hanno annunciato nell’ambito di una collaborazione sempre più solida UEFA e CONMEBOL, sottolineando che la sede del match è ancora da definire.

L'accordo raggiunto prevede al momento tre 'edizioni' della sfida tra i rispettivi campioni continentali e include anche l'apertura di un ufficio congiunto a Londra che dovrà coordinare progetti di comune interesse. Con questa intesa
UEFA e CONMEBOL esprimono il loro impegno allo sviluppo del calcio al di là delle aree geografiche come un ponte che unisce le persone, i paesi, i continenti e le culture.
