Daniele Arrigoni is the head of the group and his enthusiasm transmits how important the competition is along with representing Italy. “I can’t wait to start,” he said. “Now, we have this mini training camp which will be important as we gather up our energy again. I’m curious to see my guys at work.”
During the camp, double training is scheduled for every day and the players have had time to rest before to have the energy to get through it. “The guys are coming in after a short holiday, we need to prepare for the tournament in a gradual way without overdoing it.”
Arrigoni’s ideas are clear and he’ll take a lot into account before making his decisions: “I’ve spoken with the guys as individuals, I’ve met and spoken with them. I helped those who weren’t sure about coming to be more clear about what they want. Those who are here are here because they believe.”
