22 players called up for the two-game friendly against Qatar, the squad to meet on Sunday at Coverciano
The first two tests of the new year for Daniele Zoratto’s Azzurrini: the two games will take place at the Federal Training Centre on Tuesday 21 and Thursday 23 JanuaryThursday, January 16, 2020
2020 begins and so the challenges arrive for the Under-16 National Team, who will play two friendlies against their contemporaries from Qatar, with the first coming on Tuesday 21 (at 14:00 CET) and the second on Thursday 14 January (at 12:00 CET). Head Coach Daniele Zoratto has called up 22 players born in 2004 for the games, who will meet on the afternoon of Sunday 19 January at the Federal Training Centre.
Zoratto’s team won the ‘Torneo dei Gironi’ in December. This was a four-way tournament dedicated to the best Under-16s in the country, during which the Azzurrini imposed themselves on the two selections led by federal coaches Elvis Abbruscato and Massimiliano Favo, and on the team representing the Lega Pro coached by Daniele Arrigoni.
