The draw to determine the UEFA Nations League semifinal pairings will be held in Nyon on Wednesday 25 January (11.00 CET). The final stage of the competition, which will feature Italy, the Netherlands (host country), Croatia and Spain, will be held from 14-18 June 2023 in Rotterdam and Enschede. The semifinals on Wednesday 14 June and Thursday 15 June while the third place play-off and the final will be played on Sunday 18 June.
Italy qualified for the UEFA Nations League finals for the second consecutive time by winning Group 3 of League A with 11 points. After draws with Germany (1-1) and England (0-0) and a narrow win over Hungary (2-1) in the first three matches, the Azzurri suffered their only defeat (5-2) in the match against Germany on 14 June in Mönchengladbach. The final two wins last September against England (1-0) and Hungary (2-0) were decisive for qualification to the Final Four.
