Torneo dei Gironi from 11 to 13 November at Novarello: 60 Under 17s have been called up
On 8 December Italy will be seeded in the draw for the second phase of the European Championship qualificationsTuesday, November 8, 2022
It's the usual appointment with the Torneo dei Gironi for the National Under 17 team, with 60 players to face off in a round robin from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 November at the Villaggio Azzurro in Novarello. It is an opportunity for many youngsters to prove themselves and try to get a place in the squad for the matches in the second qualifying phase for the European Championship.
Bernardo Corradi's Italy – who progressed through the first qualifying phase last October in Kosovo by winning their group with full points thanks to the wins against the hosts (5-2), Finland (4-0) and Greece (2-0) – will know their opponents for the second qualifying phase of the continental tournament on 8 December in a draw that sees them among the top seeds.
