"The Universiade is a joyous occasion for all athletes across the world. It’s a celebration but also an important showcase for those taking part in it and the whole of Italy. I hope that we win a lot of medals. Of course, I’ll be cheering for Daniele Arrigoni’s Azzurri side in addition to showing my support for women’s football." Tomorrow, the Arrigoni’s University National Team will play their opening game against Mexico. They’ll be looking to get off to a good start in a competition that Italy have won twice in their history.
