The last two matches of the Eight Nations Tournament against Norway and Germany, then the World Cup: Nunziata's squad of 23 players announced

While waiting to know the opponents of the final round of the World Cup scheduled in Indonesia - the draw is scheduled for 31 March -, the National Under 20 team is preparing for its first official commitments in 2023. On Thursday, March 23rd at 6 pm in Stavanger against Norway and on Monday, March 27th at 3 pm at the 'Lungobisenzio' stadium in Prato (live streaming on figc.it) against Germany, the Azzurrini led by Carmine Nunziata will play the last two matches of the 8 Nations Tournament. After the defeat last June in the opening match against Poland, Italy won the next three matches all with the same score (2-1) against Portugal, Romania and the Czech Republic.

For the two matches against Norway and Germany, Nunziata has called up 23 players, of which 21 are born in 2003 and two (Guarino and Ndour) in 2004: first ever call-up to the national team for AC Milan defender Andrei Coubis and midfielders Matteo Prati (Spal) and Flavio Paoletti (Sampdoria); first call-up to the Under 20 team, for Federico Zuccon (Lecco). The National Under 20 team will gather in the evening of Sunday 19 March in a hotel in Grassobbio (Bergamo), will train on Monday and Tuesday at the Albinoleffe Stadium and on Tuesday afternoon will leave for Norway.
