In collaboration with the Premier League and in light of developments regarding the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the English Federation have announced the suspension of all activities until 3 April, including all friendly matches for the National Team, who were due to face Italy at Wembley on 27 March as well as Denmark on 31 March. All fans with tickets will be given a full refund in the next 14 days.
In relation to England vs. Italy and all of the Italian National Team’s other activities over the coming months, the FIGC will take part in a videoconference meeting promoted by UEFA on Tuesday, with the aim of the meeting to assess the international calendar. The first point of discussion will be March’s friendly matches (as well as the play-offs for EURO 2020) and then the European Championship scheduled to begin on 12 June this summer.
