The Under-21 National Team left Dublin this morning and returned to Tirrenia, where, in the afternoon, they’ll hold a training session ahead of their friendly against Romania at the Stadio Benito Stirpe in Frosinone on Tuesday (17:30 CET).
This morning, Paolo Nicolato called up Empoli defender Mattia Viti, who has left the Under-20 training camp in Cesenatico. Simone Canestrelli (Crotone), Fabiano Parisi (Empoli), Pietro Pellegri (Milan) and Alessandro Cortinovis (Reggina), all of whom received call-ups from the Head Coach in the past few days, are also set to meet up with the squad today.
Tomorrow, the Azzurrini will hold a double session before heading to Frosinone on the train on Monday.
