Nunziata and Corradi's teams will be the first to take the field in a season that will then continue with the Nations League Finals, the European Under-21 and Under-19 Championships and the Women's World Cup

The Azzurri summer starts in May: Under 20's in Argentina for the World Cup, Under 17 in Hungary for the European Championship

The National Under-20 team in Argentina, the Under-17 team in Hungary. It will be a month of May in the colours of the Azzurri, anticipating an unmissable summer: the team led by Carmine Nunziata is ready to dive into the World Cup adventure, that of Bernardo Corradi will instead be on the pitch for the final phase of the European Championships. These will be the first appointments of a season that will then continue with the commitments of the Men's first team in the Nations League Finals scheduled in the Netherlands, the National Under 21 team in the final phase of the European Championships in Romania and Georgia, the National Under 19 team that will play the European title in Malta (Italy is the only nation to take the Under 21, Under 20, Under 19 and Under 17 teams to their respective finals) and the Women's National team that will play in Australia and New Zealand in the final phase of the World Cup. Both the Under 20s (who received the official tournament schedule from FIFA in the last few hours, complete with starting times) and the Under 17s will leave for their respective destinations on Monday 15 May. The Under-17 European Championship, in which the 16 best national teams in Europe participate (the first two from each of the four groups will go through to the quarter-finals), also has five places up for grabs for the Under-17 World Cup, reserved for the four semi-finalists and the winner of a play-off between the two teams eliminated in the quarter-finals with the best points in the group stage.

Rai, for the two youth competitions, will guarantee television coverage that will begin on Thursday, 18 May at 20:00 CEST with the Under-17's opener in Budaors against their Spanish peers. On Sunday 21st, on the other hand, there will be a double appointment on RaiSport: at 20:00 CEST, the U17 boys will be back on the pitch in Budapest against Serbia, while at 11:00 CEST (Italian time, in Argentina it will be 18:00) in Mendoza it will be the turn of the Under 20 team that will kick off their World Cup campaign against Brazil, with the possibility that the match will be broadcast on Rai2.

On Wednesday 24 May, another double header: at 17:00 CEST Slovenia vs Italy Under-17's from Telki, at 20:00 CEST Italy-Nigeria Under-20 from Mendoza. The third and final match of the group stage of Nunziata's Azzurrini will be played on Saturday 27th, again at 20:00 CEST Italian time against the Dominican Republic. The top two of each of the six groups plus the four best thirds will advance to the round of 16 of the World Cup. The final will be played on Sunday, 11 June in La Plata.
