A toast to exchange Christmas greetings, to reflect on and say goodbye to an unforgettable year and to look ahead to 2022, which will see the national team return to the field on 24 March in Palermo with the aim of gaining a ticket to Qatar.

In the hotel in Rome that hosted the the 'Notti Magiche' of EURO 2020, the Azzurri met for lunch today together with FIGC president Gabriele Gravina and coach Roberto Mancini. Obviously, they could not miss a guest who has become an integral part of the group since 11 July, the Cup that they raised to the sky at Wembley and on display at Parco dei Principi next to the backdrop of the London triumph.

While wishing the team and staff a happy holiday, president Gravina also made a toast from a distance with some of those European Champions connected by video for the occasion. A gathering with the whole group, will take place in the new year, in three months there is a World Cup finals still to reach.
