Nations League draw in Nyon today
22 November 2024
Tuesday, March 30, 2021
The Azzurri are on their way to Vilnius, where they’re scheduled to face Lithuania in their third World Cup qualifying match at 20:45 CEST. This afternoon, Roberto Mancini will talk to the press, after which the team will put the finishing touches to their preparations at the LFF Stadium.
The Head Coach will be without Alessandro Florenzi and Marco Verratti for the upcoming clash, with the duo having left the camp. The former was suffering from muscle fatigue and, as a precaution, won’t be travelling to Lithuania, while the latter picked up a left thigh injury during Sunday’s match against Bulgaria.
This follows on from the news that Freiburg striker Vincenzo Grifo won’t be available for the showdown in Vilnius due to current restrictions for those entering Germany from Lithuania.
