A total of 861,000 viewers followed the Azzurre’s victorious debut in the Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand yesterday. The match against Argentina, broadcast on Rai 1, recorded a 20.7% share, peaking at 21.6% during the second half, making it the most-watched event of the morning slot.
The next two matches in the Azzurre’s group stage, against Sweden (Saturday 29 July, 09:30 CEST) and South Africa (Wednesday 2 August, 09:00 CEST), will also be broadcast live on Rai 1.
