The list of 16 UEFA eEuro2020 finalists, the first virtual European Championship to be played on Pro Evolution Soccer, is complete. Austria, Croatia, Denmark, Montenegro, Spain and Turkey, who all qualified via the play-offs, will join the ten other national teams that had already qualified for the finals after the group stage. Among these, alongside Italy, were France, Germany, Holland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Israel, Luxembourg, Romania and Serbia.
The TIMVISION PES eNazionale team passed with flying colours as they won their group. The Azzurri ensured top spot in Group H two points ahead of Montenegro and three ahead of Ukraine as they collected eight wins, one draw and one defeat, which came in the second match against Montenegro and was the only false step during the qualifiers. The team composed of Rosario ‘Npk_02’ Accurso, Nicola ‘nicaldan’ Lillo, Carmine ‘Naples17x’ Liuzzi and Alfonso ‘AlonsoGrayfox’ Mereu showed great potential during qualifying.
The final phase of the tournament, initially scheduled for next July in Londo, will be played online on 23 and 24 May, and will be broadcast live on UEFA’s YouTube channel.
