From today, ten episodes of SkillZ - Competences for the Future - are available on RaiPlay, a production by Rai Digital and Transmedia Content in collaboration with the Digital Republic Fund, targeting an audience between 15 and 35 years old. In episode number seven, the head coach of the Women's National Team, Andrea Soncin, is also featured, delving into the concepts of resilience and teamwork.
"I believe that teamwork is about having a common vision," explained Soncin. "The role of a coach is crucial, it is to understand the motivations of each individual member of the group; and above all, it requires everyone's willingness to make themselves available, in the case of the women's national team, to their teammates."
Resilience is another value that was the focus of the episode recorded at the Coverciano Federal Technical Centre. "Resilience is crucial in football and in everyday life," Soncin continued. "It's the ability to go beyond, to remain strong and maintain balance. For a coach, it is essential to convey confidence and provide clear and decisive answers to all the issues that arise. I am also very fortunate to have a staff that can reach in areas where maybe I can't: the principle of resilience is to move forward, trying to overcome difficulties."
SkillZ is a Rai Digital and Transmedia Content production, in collaboration with the Digital Republic Fund. It is a programme by Davide Di Stadio and Marina Liuzzi, directed by Maria Francesca Marcelli, and hosted by Martina Socrate.
