The Azzurri held a training session at Coverciano this afternoon ahead of their match against Turkey in Konya, where they’ll play for the very first time on Tuesday evening. Italy will also train tomorrow afternoon and Monday morning at the Technical Centre, after which they’ll depart for Turkey on Monday afternoon and inspect the pitch at the Konya Büyükşehir Stadium.

Six players have been released from the squad by Roberto Mancini. Verratti left the Italy camp this morning, while Berardi and Mancini are also returning to their respective clubs after picking up knocks against North Macedonia. Joining them are Jorginho, Immobile and Insigne, with the Head Coach set to make several changes in the friendly against the Turks.
