Italy vs. Malta, scheduled for Saturday 14 October at 20:45 CEST at the San Nicola stadium, signals the return of the Azzurri to Bari almost seven years since their last visit. The FIGC and the Region of Puglia, with the help of the Regional Agency for Tourism ‘Pugliapromozione’, will work together to promote Puglia as a sporting and tourism destination. 

Puglia is central to the media action surrounding the game with adverts, LED billboards, website and newsletter banners in the stadium, on TV, and also on social media and the official channels of the FIGC. It is also present at Coverciano where the National team will train before heading to Bari. 

The promotional activity of Puglia comes under the National and Regional Communication Plan for Puglia 2023. 

In light of this partnership, on Friday 13 October at the San Nicola stadium in Bari at 19:45 CEST, the president of the Puglia Region, Michele Emiliano, will take part in the pre-match press conference alongside FIGC president Gabriele Gravina and the National team coach Luciano Spalletti.
