Preparing for Euro Qualification: Azzurrini to Gather at Coverciano

Following their success in the Telki Cup in August and a second-place finish in the Città di Trieste Tournament in September, the reigning European Under-17 champions will hold a training camp from 29 October to 3 November at the Federal Technical Centre in Coverciano. This is in preparation for the first round of the European Championship qualifiers, scheduled from 5 to 11 November in San Marino. Head coach Massimiliano Favo has called up 28 players, all born in 2008, including 10 who stood out during the Torneo dei Gironi held from 4 to 6 October in Novarello: Borasio, Giani, Luongo, Maran, Perrotti, Pirrò, Ridolfi, Rodella, Wiafe, and Zaghini.
The list of the 20 selected players who will face their counterparts from Wales, Norway, and San Marino in Group 9 will be announced on Saturday, 2 November, following the friendly match against the Fiorentina U17 team, scheduled for 11:00 AM. The matches will take place on Tuesday, 5 November (11:00 CET) at the Stadio di Acquaviva, Friday, 8 November (11:00 CET), and Monday, 11 November (11:00 CET) at the Stadio di Montecchio.
