Nunziata to lead Under-19 National Team at European Championship in Armenia
After finishing second with the Under-17s, the Coach has moved up to Under-19 level for the finals in JulyMonday, June 17, 2019
Carmine Nunziata will be in charge of the Under-19 National Team for the European Championship finals between 14 and 27 July in Armenia. After Federico Guidi left the job, Nunziata has been appointed to the role following the suggestion of National Male Youth Teams Coordinator Maurizio Viscidi.
The Under-19s finished as runners-up last time and are in Group A alongside the reigning champions Portugal, hosts Armenia and Spain. The other group consists of the Czech Republic, the Republic of Ireland and France. All of the matches will take places in Yerevan. Following the first round, ( Italy will play on 14, 17 and 20 July) and the top two sides will qualify for the semi-finals.
