Today at midday (Central European Time), the draw will take place at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon and Italy will learn their opponents for the 2024/25 UEFA Nations League quarter-final. The Azzurri, who finished second in League A Group 2, will take on one of the winners from the other three groups: Germany, Spain or Portugal. Marco Domenichini, Luciano Spalletti’s assistant head coach, will attend the draw ceremony.

The first leg of the quarter-finals will be played on Thursday 20 March and the second leg on Sunday 23 March. Having finished second in their group, Italy will play at home in the first leg. The Final Four will be played in June 2025. The format is as follows: single-legged semi-finals on Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 June, and the final and third-place play-off on Sunday 8 June.
