After finishing top of Group B thanks to wins over Portugal (1-0) and Greece (4-0) and a draw (0-0) against Turkey, the Azzurrini will face the second-place side from Group A, which was won by France. The Moroccans managed to secure their spot in the last four thanks to a 1-1 draw against Spain yesterday evening. The other semi-final will see France take on Turkey in Mers El Hadjadj.

Italy, who are the most decorated side in the history of the tournament – four gold medals won in 1959, 1963, 1967 and 1997 – are aiming to make the final again after the silver medal they picked up four years ago.
