Marco Scarpa’s squad for double England friendlies in Rome

After the U19s who faced Slovenia (two friendly wins: 2-0 and 2-1) and the U17s who won the 43rd edition of the Telki Cup in Hungary, the Italy Under-16 National Team also get their season underway with two friendlies against England in Rome. The first will be on Tuesday 27 August at 18:30 CEST (live on Vivo Azzurro TV) at the Stadio delle Tre Fontane and the second will be on Thursday 29 August at 10:30 CEST at the Centro di Preparazione Olimpica Acqua Acetosa Giulio Onesti, named in memory of Gianluca Vialli.

Marco Scarpa has called up 22 players for his debut in the dugout after replacing Daniele Zoratto, promoted to the full-time role of Vice Coordinator of the Azzurri Youth. 

ACCREDITATION. The first friendly between Italy and England, scheduled for 27 August at 18:30 CEST at the Stadio delle Tre Fontane, will be free to attend without accreditation or access limitations with exception to the media. Access to the second friendly on Thursday 29 August at 10:30 CEST will be reserved for those who are in possession of regular accreditation (maximum two for each named player and two for each club). Requests should be made by 16:00 CEST on the day before the game to the following email address: a.lupinski@figc.it.
