Mancini calls up Bastoni, Ferrari and Zaccagni. Team to hold first training session at 16:00 CET

With Ogbonna having gone off injured on Saturday while playing for West Ham, and following Romagnoli’s warm-up injury ahead of Milan vs. Verona (his condition will be assessed), Head Coach Roberto Mancini has called up three new players to his squad with Wednesday’s friendly against Estonia at the Stadio Artemio Franchi fast approaching.

Alessandro Bastoni has left the Under-21s’ training camp to join up with the Azzurri squad (his second senior call-up), while Mattia Zaccagni, who was a key figure in yesterday’s match at San Siro, has been called up for his country for the first time. Tomorrow, Gian Marco Ferrari will arrive at the Coverciano Federal Technical Centre (his fourth call-up, although he’s yet to play for the Azzurri) along with his Sassuolo teammates, who will have completed their period of isolation.
