Italy begin the year with friendly against Spain on 15 January at Las Rozas: Alberto Bollini's squad

Approximately a month after the draw for the Elite phase, the Under 19 National Team will begin the new year with a tough friendly against Spain, scheduled for Wednesday 15 January (11:30 CET, live on Vivo Azzurro TV) at the Ciudad del Fútbol de Las Rozas, in Madrid, before their European qualification match on 22 March. 

Head Coach Alberto Bollini has called up 22 players, all born in 18 years old, apart from five players who are 17 years old (Matteo Cocchi, Federico Coletta, Alessandro Di Nunzio, Mattia Liberali and Emanuele Sala) and one 16 year old (Andrea Natali), who will meet in Casorate Sempione (VA) on the evening of Sunday 12 January before departing for Spain the following day.
