The remaining doubts about Italy’s squad list for the UNL matches against Bosnia & Herzegovina and the Netherlands have been put to bed. Earlier on this evening, Jorginho (Chelsea FC) arrived at Coverciano, where, as per protocol, he will be subject to tests to ascertain whether he can join the National Team in training. Meanwhile, Sandro Tonali is no longer part of Roberto Mancini’s squad.
Ahead of their return to the pitch ten months on from when they were last in action, the Azzurri are continuing to prepare for their two Nations League fixtures against Bosnia & Herzegovina and the Netherlands. Today, the team trained at the Stadio Artemio Franchi, where they’ll take to the field on Friday evening.
Head Coach Mancini sent out three teams, and they faced off in a mini tournament. During the session, Meret and Insigne picked up knocks to their left knee and left ankle respectively. However, neither injury is currently a cause for concern.
