On the second day of work at the SPAL sports centre, running and tactical drills in preparation for Norway were the focus. Amid smiles, intensity, and attention to detail, the Azzurre continue to prepare for the crucial EURO 2025 qualifying match against Norway, scheduled for Tuesday (18:15 CEST, live on Rai 2) in Ferrara.
After this morning's training session, the players will have the afternoon off to recharge physically and mentally for the upcoming match that could shift the balance in Group 1 of Lega A. The team's goal is to pick up three points, narrowly missed in Friday's match in Oslo, in order to overtake the Scandinavians and head into the final two matches against the Netherlands (12 July) and Finland (16 July) with a three-point advantage. To achieve this, Andrea Soncin's Italy relies on the usual warmth of the Emilian city, which has always supported and propelled the Women's National Team in the six matches played at the Paolo Mazza stadium (with a record of five wins and one draw).
Tickets can be purchased until the start of the match at authorized Vivaticket agencies and on the websites figc.vivaticket.it and vivaticket.com. On the day of the game, the ticket office at Via Cassoli will also open from 15:15 CEST to 19:15 CEST, providing the opportunity to buy tickets until the last moment, just a few steps from the stadium
Under 18s and Over 65s will be able to attend the match by paying 1 euro. Entry will be free for holders of tickets for the Coppa Italia final between Roma and Fiorentina, played in Cesena on 24 May.
KOMEN ITALIA. In addition to facing Norway in Ferrara, the Azzurre will also take the field for prevention. Thanks to the collaboration with the FIGC, on Monday 3 June, and Tuesday 4 June, the high-tech mobile units of Komen Italia's Carovana della Prevenzione will reach the Emilian city with two new stops, to ensure women access to effective and fair opportunities for protecting their health and to bring prevention to areas where it is more difficult to reach.
The initiative offers two days of health promotion with specialised visits for the prevention of breast cancer reserved for women outside regional screening, mammography for women aged between 40 and 49 and over 74, plus breast ultrasound for those under 40, and gynaecological visits.
