The Azzurre’s preparation continues ahead of Tuesday's friendly match against Colombia, that will be played at 16:30 CEST at the Tre Fontane stadium in Rome (live on figc.it, on the Figc YouTube channel and on the Facebook and Twitter pages of the National team). This morning the team trained at the Centro Tecnico Federale in Coverciano. It was an intense technical and tactical session in the morning, before Milena Bertolini decided to give her players the afternoon off.
For the game against the South American selection, who sit 26th in the FIFA Rankings, the Azzurrer will have to manage without Flaminia Simonetti, forced to skip the match in Rome, where Italy have not played for 20 years. The Inter midfielder, who is suffering from a muscular problem in her right calf, will not be available for Tuesday's match, and she has been removed from the squad. Simonetti will leave Coverciano today to return to her club.
