This evening in Northern Ireland, the group stage of the Under-19 European Championships drew to a close with the last games in Group B. France and Spain drew 2-2 and Türkiye and Denmark drew 3-3, completing the semi-final set up: France vs. Ukraine and Italy vs. Spain (just like one year ago in Malta). The fixture is scheduled for Thursday 25 at the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park, Belfast: the Azzurrini will play at 15:00 CEST before the other fixture at 20:00 CEST. Les Blues and La Roja are thus the third and fourth sides to qualify for the Under-20 World Cup in Chile next year. A fifth side will join them in South America in 2025, the winner of the clash between Norway and Türkiye (on Thursday at 17:30 CEST at the Seaview Stadium in Belfast), who both finished third in their respective groups.
