Italy set to put in the hard work ahead of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2019 – Europe Qualifier competition in Moscow

Italy’s Beach Soccer National Team are ready to put in the hard work after finishing fifth at the European Games in Minsk. Head Coach Emiliano Del Duca has called up 15 players for a training camp in Terracina. This will last from Thursday 4 July to Monday 8 July. Five days of intense training await the Azzurri, with double sessions set to take place daily so as to help the team be in the best shape possible ahead of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2019 – Europe Qualifier competition, which will take place from 19 July to 27 July in Moscow. Dario Ramacciotti is back amongst the group, while Fabio Sciacca, who is enjoying an excellent season with Catania, has been named in the squad for the second time. Battini and Altobelli, who are now becoming permanent fixtures in training camps, are also included. The rest of the players are regulars in the team. When they arrive in Russia, the team will be looking to secure one of the five spots reserved for European sides for the next World Cup in Paraguay.
