Italy in Lublin ahead of friendly against Poland

Italy have arrived in Lublin, where they will face hosts Poland in a friendly on Friday at 18 CEST. The game will be streamed live on our website. With two months left to the World Cup in France, Milena Bertolini’s side will be taking on a strong side who have been in good form recently and have climbed up to 26th in the FIFA Ranking. Italy will have to cope without Laura Fusetti, Alice Tortelli and Francesca Vitale, who are all injured.

"We have chosen to face Poland because they’ve been doing very well recently,” Bartolini said. “Reaching the final of the Algarve Cup is a great achievement – they beat two good sides in Spain and the Netherlands and we know that a really good test is awaiting us. We want to prepare as well as we can for the upcoming World Cup."
