Integrity and tackling match fixing: Under 17s take part in educational course

As part of FIGC activities in collaboration with Sportradar, the Under 17s National Team took part in a workshop this morning in relation to football integrity and tackling match fixing. The meeting was held during their training camp in Bagno di Romagna (FC), where the Azzurrini are preparing for their upcoming games in the first phase of qualifying for the European Championships, scheduled to take place between 25 and 31 October in Emilia-Romagna.

Illustrating the types of illicit activites, including a discussion about the current hot topic of betting, to the lads were Marcello Presilla, a lawyer and Head of Integrity for Sportradar AG in Italy, and the FIGC's Integrity Officer, Filippo Laurenti.

In the last few weeks, other educational courses have been held with the Men's and Women's Under 19s, and the Women's Under 17s, the three other sides involved in their respective European Championship qualifying campaigns.
