Italy vs. Poland at the Under-21 European Championship recorded large viewing figures. In the second match at the group stage, the Azzurrini’s fixture at the Stadio Dall’Ara in Bologna was watched by a 6,002,000 for an audience share of 27.35 per cent. Despite the defeat, the team clearly proved popular with viewers on tv and at the stadium which like for the Spain game, was sold out.

The Azzurrini’s opening fixture against Spain had an audience share of 29.40 per cent with 5.7 viewers, moving up to 30.75 per cent with almost 6 million viewers (5,937,000) in the second half.
