Gravina to run for re-election to the UEFA Executive Committee
The FIGC President, and current UEFA Vice-president, submitted his candidacy for the coming four-year period. The election will take place at the 49th UEFA congress in Belgrade on 3 AprilMonday, February 24, 2025

FIGC President Gabriele Gravina has put his name forward for membership on the UEFA Executive Committee for the next four years. The election will be held in Belgrade on Thursday 3 April, during the 49th UEFA Ordinary Congress.
This was announced by UEFA, who also confirmed that all candidates had passed an eligibility test, required by the elections committee which is composed of members of the UEFA Governance and Compliance Committee, in accordance with article 2186) of the UEFA Statute and article 4bis of the Regulations for amendments to the UEFA Statute.
Gravina, who won re-election as FIGC President with 98.7% of the vote on 3 February, will appointed to the UEFA Executive Committee in April 2021, receiving 53 endorsements out of a possible 55, becoming the candidate with the most votes. Two years later, on 5 April 2023, he was named Vice-president of European football’s governing body.
