Gillette Labs takes to the field with the Italian National team for EURO 2024

Gillette, the global leader in grooming and male shaving, reaffirms its strong connection with the world of football and sports by announcing the renewal of its partnership with FIGC, the Italian Football Federation. Naturally, Gillette will be supporting the Azzurri during the European Championships to be held in Germany from 14 June to 14 July.

The relationship between the brand and FIGC sees Gillette taking a leading role in supporting both the men's and women's national teams. Last year, they teamed up with the goal of generating a positive cultural impact in the perception of women's football and actively supporting the grassroots movement in Italy. This support is further strengthened through concrete projects on the ground, such as Play Days (FIGC - School Youth Sector), and collaboration with the association Parole O Stili.

At the announcement, the brand chose to take it to the next level by lining up the new Gillette Labs alongside the Azzurri, the official razor of the National Team. Starting from the training retreats at Coverciano and into the upcoming EURO 2024, Gillette Labs will be alongside the players and the entire staff, continuing to support them in the challenges they will face, on the field and during shaving.

The agreement between Gillette and FIGC was officially announced today in Rome, by Giovanni Valentini, Vice Secretary of FIGC and Head of Revenue, and Vittorio Sapio, Senior Director of Gillette Italy.

"After taking to the field in support of the Women's National Football Team, we are excited to announce that the brand will also support the Men's National Team, aiming to once again raise our colours high on the field", explained Vittorio Sapio, Senior Director of Gillette Italy. "For the upcoming Euro 2024 tournament, we are ready to stand by and elevate the Azzurri to a higher level with the new Gillette Labs, which, to our pride, is the official razor of the Italian National Football Team”.

Gillette's support for the National Team will kick off with a series of initiatives not only on the field. Indeed, some footballers such as Alessandro Buongiorno, Gianluca Scamacca, Davide Frattesi, Giacomo Bonaventura, Federico Gatti, and Moise Kean have been involved in challenges never seen before that put their talent to the test.

The relationship between Gillette and football is now well-established, reaching ever higher levels. Today marks the beginning of a new chapter in the brand's ongoing commitment to supporting sports, particularly the world of football, both men's and women's, recognising the inclusivity value and promoting its development.
