On Friday, 5 September, he will be making his debut on the national team sidelines in Bergamo against Estonia. Gennaro Gattuso continues his tour of Serie A club training centres. After visiting Roma, Juventus, Cagliari, Lazio, Sassuolo, and Udinese, the head coach paid a visit this morning to Atalanta at the Bortolotti Centre in Zingonia.

Joined by the national team delegation chief Gianluigi Buffon and assistants Luigi Riccio and Leonardo Bonucci, he was welcomed by Atalanta Chairman Luca Percassi, Institutional Area Director Umberto Marino, Corporate Area Director Andrea Fabris, and Sporting Director Tony D’Amico. The head coach then sat in on the team’s training session before speaking with coach Ivan Juric and the Nerazzurri players.

Tomorrow, Gattuso will visit Milan, the club where he was a legendary player and managed as head coach from 2017 to 2019.
