As they wait to find out at the end of November whether they’ll progress to the Elite round of European qualifying as the best third-placed side, the Under-19 National Team will return to the pitch to face Hungary in a friendly double-header.
The first fixture will be played on Wednesday 16 November (15:00 CET, live stream on the FIGC website) at the Coverciano Federal Technical Centre, while the second game will take place on Saturday 19 November (11:00 CET) at the Tirrenia Olympic Training Centre. The Azzurrini have a slight edge in the head-to-head record between the sides (four wins, one draw and three defeats). The teams last met in November 2021, when, in two friendlies in quick succession, Italy won 1-0 in Budapest and Hungary emerged 3-1 victors in Telki.
