At the INF Clairefontaine, France won the first match of the friendly double-header. The hosts’ passing caused problems for Daniele Franceschini’s side, who went into the break two behind following goals from St. Etienne striker Ayman Aiki (12’) and Lille defender Kumbedi Nseke (40’). The Italy Head Coach made several changes, but, despite pressure from the Azzurrini, the scoreline remained the same: France ran out 2-0 winners.

The second friendly will be played at the same location at 11:00 CET on Sunday 20 November.
