Bollini: ‘The boys were exemplary’ in 1-0 win over Greece

The Under-19 National Team have met up and completed their first session at the Stadio Rigamonti Ceppi in Lecco, which will host the Azzurrini’s friendly against Switzerland on Wednesday (14:00 CET kick-off).
With Samuele Ricci and Elia Petrelli already having dropped out due to injury, Head Coach Alberto Bollini has bolstered his ranks by calling up Chievo Verona players Emanuele Zuelli and Pietro Rovaglia along with Empoli’s Luca Belardinelli.
The match against the Swiss will be the last game before the Elite Round, which will take place in Italy from 25 to 31 March. At the end of March, the Azzurrini will have the task of beating Slovenia, Iceland and Norway to secure the only spot available to qualify for the European Championship Finals scheduled for July in Northern Ireland.
