Italy move up to 13th place in the FIFA rankings

With under two weeks to go until the Women’s World Cup and FIFA have published the lists from the 24 teams who have made the finals. 552 players will be at the tournament that runs between 7 June and 7 July with Italy back for the first time in 20 years since the last appearance when the competition was hosted in the United States of America. The third stage of training in Riscone di Brunico (BZ) has come to a close with the team now set to travel to Ferrara. There, the Azzurre will face Switzerland at the Stadio Paolo Mazza on Wednesday 29 May at 15:00 CEST in the final World Cup warm-up.
