FIFA has released the new rankings for the women's national teams. The three places on the podium remain unchanged and are still occupied by the United States, Germany and Sweden, the Azzurre's opponent in Group G of the World Cup to be played this summer in Australia and New Zealand. Italy gain one position and rise to 16th place, overtaking South Korea, who they defeated a month ago thanks to Rosucci's goal at the death in the final match of the Arnold Clark Cup.

Winners of the SheBelieves Cup for the sixth time, the United States consolidated first place, while Germany and Sweden, who drew 0-0 in friendlies, remain on their tails. England stay in touch thanks to their victory in the Arnold Clark Cup, a tournament in which they also beat Italy.
