Another 2-2 draw for the U21s

With the squad set to be announced on Friday 24 May, the finals of the Under-21 UEFA European Championship in Italy are fast approaching. Coach Luigi Di Biagio will whittle down from his preliminary squad during a training camp running from Wednesday 29th May to Saturday 8th June at the Lazio training ground in Formello. By midnight on Thursday 6th June, the final squad of 23 will be announced. After the first training camp, the group of 23 will head to Bologna where they will be based for the entire tournament at the Bologna FC training ground.
In Group A, Italy will play Spain on Sunday 16th June in the opening fixture at the Stadio Dall’Ara in Bologna. Poland will be up next on Wednesday 19th June in Bologna before the final group match against Belgium on Saturday 22nd June in Reggio Emilia.

For the preliminary camp in Formello, media accreditation will be granted to Odg/ AIPS card holders.
For the camp at Casteldebole from 10 June, media activities can be accessed by going through the UEFA Accreditations process.
