Emilia Romagna to host first EURO qualifying phase from 13 to 19 November
The Azzurrini will play their opener against Malta on 13 November prior to games against Cyprus and SlovakiaMonday, October 21, 2019
From 13 to 19 November, Emilia Romagna, a place which has become a real stronghold for Italy’s youth teams in recent years, will host the first phase of Under-19 European Championship qualifying.
Alberto Bollini’s Italy side, who have been placed in Group 6, will play their opening qualification match against Malta on Wednesday 13 November in Misano Adriatico. Three days later, they’ll face Cyprus in Santarcangelo di Romagna before returning to Misano Adriatico for their final group game against Slovakia on Tuesday 19 October.
The Stadio Tullio Morgagni in Forlì will also host a match – the opener between Cyprus and Slovakia on Wednesday 13 November. The top two in each group will qualify for the Elite qualifying round, as will the best third-placed team. The latter will be decided based on results against the first and second-placed teams in the respective groups.

The top two in each group and the best third-placed side will qualify join Portugal in the Elite qualifying round, which will take place in the spring of 2020.
